
Michael Greci
Michael Greci the founder of Greci Media & Communication is an interdisciplinary communication practitioner.
MEDIA
He has always been passionate about all areas of the communication and media industry, in fact, he practically grew up in it! It was no surprise that he got his first job in broadcasting at the age of 18 as an on-air personality at a non-commercial FM radio station. Eventually, he moved onto the largest commercial radio provider in the United States, Clear Channel Communications, which would later become iHeartMedia, Inc (also acclaimed for their iHeartRadio app and Festival). Michael was with the organization for ten years as a talk show producer, control-room technical operator, traffic producer, and news reporter for several stations throughout Florida. He also provided on-air content for the Miami-Fort Lauderdale FM sister stations and assisted in the execution of the social media strategy for the AM News Division. During his undergraduate studies, he interned for one of NBC Universal’s investigative news and special project units; he also completed a digital marketing and production internship with a national morning talk show. His work in television expanded when he acted as a Senior Producer for a national cable talk show that was in development. Michael has worked for many years in branded content with several different platforms. Thereafter he started to hone in on the digital realm, designing a social media strategy for the United Nations Association. He successfully implemented a digital strategic plan in support of the Adopt-A-Future campaign (within the South Florida area), providing education efforts for refugees across the world. Michael also served as a publicist and communication consultant for several individuals and businesses including a national media personality, best-selling children's book author, recording artist, real estate developer, ethnic food-product brands, and a beauty line.

Michael eventually went on to work in higher-education for Miami Dade College, the second-largest college or university in the United States. At Dade (as it is affectionately called) he created corporate and non-profit partnerships building two of their Bachelor of Applied Science internship programs. He also led professional workshops and training sessions for students in the Global Business, Trade, and Transportation programs. Michael currently serves as faculty for the field of communication within Miami Dade College's Virtual College. Michael is also affilated with several major universities throughout the country serving in a numer of capacities, inlcuding adjunct professor, contributing faculty member, and visiting professor. He often teaches mass-media, modern popular culture, and communication courses for both graduate and undergraduate students.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Michael earned a Master of Arts degree, in Communication from The Johns Hopkins University, a world-renowned institution. He completed concentrations in Digital and Corporate-Non Profit Communication, strengthening his knowledge of best communication practices from a strategy and research standpoint under the tutelage of the nation's top industry communication practitioners. Michael has also completed a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science concentrated in Communication Studies & Sociology from Florida Atlantic University in addition to another Master of Arts in International Administration (MAIA) on a Communications Track from the University of Miami. The prestigious MAIA program allowed Michael to study under a United States Ambassador and top-tier faculty. Through his studies at UM, he was able to learn about the importance of international relationships and adaptation within diverse cultural settings for both Non-Governmental Organizations and Multinational Corporations. He was also granted the opportunity to work with a digital media project, documenting the many experiences of those associated with the Guantanamo Bay military base, particularly during the time of the Haitian refugee crisis of the early 90s. Through his experience and education, Michael is able to provide top tier media knowledge and insights.
